Speculation is mounting that iWork '11 could launch on Thursday 6 January, the same day as the Mac App Store is set to go live.
According to a report on 9To5Mac, stocks of iWork '09 are being run down in Apple Stores and there are few to be had at retailers such as Amazon and Ingram Micro.
The rumours have been further strengthened by the fact that iWork '09 launched on 6 January 2009.
It is expected that you will be able to buy Numbers, Pages and Keynote as individual products through the Mac App Store, as well as the complete iWork '11 package.
The Mac App Store will be available in 90 countries at launch and will include paid-for and free Mac applications, similar to the Apple iTunes App Store, in categories such Education, Games, Graphics & Design, Lifestyle, Productivity and Utilities.
