Adobe has confirmed that senior vice president and chief software architect Kevin Lynch will offer the keynote speech at September's Flashforward Conference and Film Festival.

The conference will take place at the Boston Marriott Copley Place. Lynch will be joined by a team of Adobe presenters and third-party experts. Presenters will explore the new applications that are being developed with Adobe Flash and related technologies.

Presentations will cover: the recently announced Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR), formerly code named Apollo, a cross-operating system application runtime that enables developers to use HTML/CSS, Ajax, Adobe Flash and Adobe Flex to extend rich internet applications (RIAs) to the desktop; the Adobe Media Player, Flash Professional CS3 and more.

"The Adobe team, kicking off with Kevin Lynch and followed by Mike Chambers, Deeje Cooley, Andrew Kirkpatrick, and Josh Ulm, have been paired with presentations from leading designers and developers outside Adobe, teaming inside knowledge with real-world experiences," said Lynda Weinman, CEO events.

"This is an especially exciting year for Flashforward with new developments in Video, Integration, and Mobile use of the Flash products," she said.

The Flashforward Conference delivers three days of intensive discussion for users of Adobe Flash, Flex, ActionScript and Adobe AIR.
