Microsoft's Mac Business Unit has announced a new community for Office users, called Art of Office.

The company describes the new section as a place for users to submit artistic or "useful" content created using Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

"Whether it’s creating pixel art using Excel, developing an animated short story in PowerPoint or artistic pieces in Word, this online community allows you to share, rate, remix and discuss user-submitted content with other Mac Office users around the world," the company writes on its Mac Mojo blog.

The collection begins with Office-created postcards from Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo fame and artwork from Phil Torrone, senior editor of Make magazine.
