Microsoft has replaced the general manager of its Mac Business Unit (Mac BU).

Seven-year Mac BU veteran Roz Ho is moving across to Microsoft's Entertainment and Devices division. She is being replaced by former general manager of AOL Wireless, Craig Eisler, who rejoined Microsoft in February. Eisler formerly ran the development team for DirectX in an earlier stint at Microsoft.

“Microsoft and Apple are both great companies in their own right, and working in Mac BU, I get to experience the best of both worlds,” Eisler wrote in on his blog.

Eisler takes command as Microsoft prepares to release the latest version of Microsoft Office for the Mac in the second half of this year.
