Realmac Software has revealed the prices it will be charging for RapidWeaver 5.0, LittleSnapper 1.7 and Courier in the Mac App Store
LittleSnapper, the digital scrapbook utility, will cost to $24.95 and Courier will become a Mac App Store exclusive, no longer available in the Realmac Software store, priced at $4.99.
From tomorrow existing customers will be able to claim a refund of their Realmac Store-purchased copy of Courier in order to move to the Mac App Store version of Courier. You'll need your order number and iTunes receipt to make a claim.
Realmac said that the new price for RapidWeaver will also be available in its store for a limited time, but warned: "We'll be evaluating the $39.99 price after the dust from the App Store launch has settled."
Meanwhile, fellow software developer equinux has expressed fears that the Mac App Store could suffer similar problems to the iPhone App Store if the approval process isn't improved.
"We hope that Apple doesn't repeat the mistakes they made with the launch of the App Store for the iPhone. They were trying times when you had to wait three months for an approval and no one at Apple could give any information on what the status was," Till Schadde, CEO of equinux said.
