e-on software has announced details of the upcoming Vue 10 product line - scheduled for release in early November, 2011.

Among the highlights of the of this version of the 'digital nature' software are an automatic Path-finding algorithm can be used to build realistic roads on the surface of terrains and a library of dynamic rock templates that can be used to instantly create single rocks, groups of rocks, or use them in EcoSystems. Each time the user creates a rock from a template, a new and unique variation will be generated. 

Version 10 also introduces a number of major enhancements such as spline tools, streamlined terrain editing, and a physical water shading engine, along with significant improvements in overall rendering performance and artistic control.

The Vue 10 product line is built around the same three-tiered structure as before: Vue Infinite and Vue xStream, which integrate into any professional CG production workflow; Vue Esprit, Vue Studio and Vue Complete, which provide 3D artists with modular applications to create 3D digital nature scenery and landscapes; and Vue Pioneer and Theme-Packs, Vue 3D SuperHero and Vue Frontier, products that feature content-filled, scenic nature creation for home and family use, with Vue Frontier specifically dedicated to Poser and Daz|Studio users. The E-on software expects to release the entire Vue 10 product line early next month, with the professional solutions shipping first.

Users of Vue xStream or Vue Infinite under maintenance will receive the upgrade to the corresponding Vue 10 product at no charge, and if desired, can download a pre-release version of their Vue 10 upgrade immediately.
