The third beta of Mac OS X 10.6.5, Apple seeded to developers on Thursday, has "one known issue" according to a report.

Mac focused website Apple Insider claims the latest build - likely tagged as 10H531 - has an issue associated with desktop and server virtualisation software VMware, which if installed may stop USB devices working when a Mac is woken from sleep.

The latest beta weighs in at a 557MB download the website notes.

Quoting  "people familiar with the latest build," Apple Insider adds Apple has requested developers focus on key areas for the latest beta including iCal, Mail, USB devices, QuickTime, Time Machine and 3D graphics.
