Interex Europe is churning out new products this month, including a 500MHz G3 upgrade, and a USB keyboard.

The new XLR8 500MHz MACh Speed G3z is compatible with all Power Mac G3 configurations and the new 400MHz G4. Installed via the Mac’s ZIF (zero insertion force socket), the card includes Auto Caching technology and PowerPack software.

Interex claims that the upgrade boasts G3 performance up to 20 per cent faster than Apple’s 400MHz G4 system. The upgrades are set to ship on October 15.

The USB keyboard, which is shipping now, features two extra USB ports, and a105-key standard Mac layout. The keyboard for the Mac is available in "ice", while customers who buy the PC version will have to make do with beige.
