Adobe has announced the 2004 Adobe Design Achievement Awards, aimed at student designers, illustrators, digital filmmakers, and computer artists from design schools in the US, Canada, and the UK.

Individual entries in the following five categories will be considered: Time-based Media, Print, Illustration, Photography, and Multiple Media. Groups may enter projects in the Print Collaboration and Digital Collaboration categories.

Adobe's annual award will be judged in early June with finalists contacted soon after. First-place winners receive $5,000 and a trip to San Francisco to attend the awards ceremony. They also win their choice of ten Adobe products.

Second-place winners receive a choice of five Adobe products, airfare to San Francisco, and hotel accommodation. Third-place winners receive a choice of three Adobe products as well as airfare and hotel accommodations.

Students can submit their entries from April 1 through May 17, 2004.
