Adobe is offering a new licensing program to university campuses in the US.

The new program will allow institutions to distribute Adobe software products at a lower cost to students and staff for use in teaching, learning and administrative activities.

Products on offer include Acrobat, Creative Suite and Adobe Video Collection.

It is also possible to earn points toward further discounts on other purchases as part of a Contractual Licensing Program (CLP) agreement. Under this program, students own the license, allowing them to continue using the Adobe software products after they graduate or leave the institution. Students are also eligible to purchase upgrades and support options.

The program is running in North America only at the moment.
