Adobe has released an updated version of its Camera RAW software, version 3.3.

The update introduces support for RAW image date to 17 new camera models, allowing image-takers to work with such RAW images in Photoshop CS2 or Elements 3. The software now supports over 113 cameras.

New support for cameras from Canon, FujiFilm, Kodak, Mamiya, NIkon, Olympus, Pentax and Sony features in this release.

RAW images consist of the basic data captured by a digital camera that have not endured camera processing. They tend to be very large files containing a huge amount of image data, and are sometimes referred to as "digital negatives".
