Adobe has released an update to its software plug-in that lets Photoshop CS2 use the Raw image format of many digital cameras.

The update - Camera Raw 3.5 - adds more cameras to its list of supported models. The software lets photographers manipulate Raw image data in their image editing application.

The company has also released a Universal binary version of its DNG Converter, which translates any Photoshop-supported Raw photo format - including images from the new cameras supported in Camera Raw 3.5 - to the universal .DNG format instead.
