Adobe has posted a demo of Adobe After Effects 5.0 online.

After Effects 5.0 is the latest version of Adobe's motion-graphics and visual-effects solution. The application will edit video, add effects, includes vector-paint tools, and will export to DV or to the Web. It's Adobe's equivalent of
Apple's Final Cut Pro 2

The After Effects 5.0 Tryout version includes most of the features of the Standard application, but you cannot save or export data out of the program.

The demonstration version requires a PowerPC processor – Adobe recommends a multi-processor G4. It runs on Mac OS 9.0.4 or later (including OS X's Classic environment).
