Apple has issued AirPort 3.0.4 downloads for Mac OS X 10.1.5and 10.2.

AirPort 3.0.4 supports both AirPort Extreme and AirPort products. Apple recommends the update for owners of French AirPort Extreme Base Stations, and those with AirPort Extreme Base Stations that stop responding after being on a busy Ethernet network.

Included in both updates is the AirPort Extreme Firmware Update 5.0.4. This prevents Extreme Base Stations from being downgraded, and reduces performance degradation when connected to high-traffic LAN networks.

Both versions fix a number of problems, including an issue whereby a Extreme networks appear to be unavailable due to excessive 2.4 GHz radio interference, and an issue which sees the AirPort Extreme Base Station may spontaneously restart.

They also remove all known limits in the number of FTP connections that can be initiated through the base station, according to Apple.

The AirPort software requires Mac OS X 10.1.5 plus the Networking Update or later and an AirPort-ready computer with an internal AirPort Card. Printing support requires Mac OS X 10.2.3 or later.

Apple has also issued an update for AppleWorks 6.2.1 for Windows. It now includes added stability for spreadsheets, according to Apple.
