Amazon may have mistakenly revealed Apple's proposed shipping date for the next iteration of its OS, Mac OS X 10.4, Tiger.
Friday saw the online retail giant make Tiger available for pre-order in the US, but only for a short time. However, the company also claimed the hotly-anticipated operating system would ship on March 31, 2005. It cost $129.
All Apple has said so far is that the new OS would be released in the first half of 2005.
Amazon has since removed the information.
