Amazon UK has released its list of the top-selling Macintosh book titles sold through its site in the last week.

The selection contains four Mac OS X-related titles, two for Mac OS 9 and one each for iMovie and QuarkXPress 4.

Though the company has declined to release sales figures, citing "corporate secrecy needs", it has released the names of the books.

Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X by Aaron Hillegass sits in first place, followed by David Pogue's Mac OS 9: The Missing manual. Cameron Newham's Learning the Bash shell (another book for OS X developers) is third.

QuarkXPress 4 for Mac lies in fourth place.

Apple's own title, Learning Cocoa appears in fifth place, with David Pogue's iMovie emerging as the sixth biggest selling Mac book on Amazon's site.

The Macintosh Bible, the essential guide to managing classic Mac OS, occupies seventh place. Eighth place is taken by Todd Stauffer's title, Mastering Mac OS X.
