Apple's video production solutions are expected to drive further growth following the BBC decision to adopt Final Cut Pro.

Analysts at Piper Jaffray hold an "outperform" rating on the company's stock with a $60 target price. They expect Apple to experience more sales to post-production and broadcast customers in 2006, Forbes reports.

The expectations follow surveys conducted by the analysts at giant video and broadcast event IBC last week.

The results suggested 53 per centof post-production customers: "Expect to spend the same or more on technology in 2006 versus 2005. Nearly 40 per cent said Apple would be the primary beneficiary of their technology spending next year," Forbes states.
