Apple has added a new profile feature to its Pro site, this time detailing pro-photographer Guy Gowan's use of Aperture.

In a short video interview that is available on the site, power user Guy Gowan runs through some of his most used Aperture features, for example he explains: "One of the first things I did for a particular client was to make a Smart Album. So as soon as I rate an image with five stars, it's on the web".

Gowan stresses that workflow is "every professional photographers biggest problem".

"I want to finish my day's work and feel engaged in what I was doing," he said.

He stresses Apple's growing advantage within the industry: "Photographers know that the Mac is the best thing to use," he says, "it's light years ahead of anything else."
