Apple’s "1984" advert is one the top 100 adverts of all time, according to a Channel 4 poll taken over the last ten years.

The Sunday Times, with Channel Four, is now running a competition (based on the top 100 list) to decide the top ten adverts ever - and Apple's 1984 is in the running.

The Sunday Times said: "By the age of 35, the average person will have seen 150,000 television ads...about two months of your life, watching ads on TV."

The top ten commercials will be broadcast on Channel Four in April, in a show hosted by Graham Norton.
