Apple will have one of the largest stands at BETT 2001, the UK technology-in-education show, to be held at Olympia from January 10-13.

The stand will be divided into a presentation theatre - featuring a full programme of demos and seminars - and a product showcase.

Apple will showcase Apple Learning Solutions (ALS). Designed for teachers, ALS comprises Apple Learning Interchange (ALI), a Web-site resource; the Apple Learning Series (ALS), an integrated suite of software applications and curriculum content; and Apple Learning Professional Development (ALPD), which offers Internet-based staff-development courses.

Apple UK and Ireland managing director Brendan O’Sullivan told Macworld: “Our US colleagues have spent a fortune on Apple Learning Solutions and it’s my vision to bring that to the UK.”
