Apple CEO Steve Jobs has "quietly returned to work full-time", following his life-saving cancer surgery.

Jobs has taken part in high-level meetings and maintained contact with analysts and Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak, across the last month, reports the Mercury News.

Wozniak says the CEO is in "excellent spirits". The report adds that Jobs does not acknowledge his illness or recovery and remains as intensely driven as ever.

Jobs told Apple employees of his illness August 2 in an internal email that swiftly reached the media.
