Apple is asking developers who have had access to pre-release system builds for feedback on the quality of the current development version of Mac OS X 10.5 'Leopard'.

An AppleInsider report claims the company wants developers to share their opinion as to the quality of the current build. The company is requesting developers answer several questions in a survey hosted on the Apple Developer Connection website.

The move is a sure sign that development is reaching an end and the company's development teams intend tightening up what's been achieved so far.

Apple has confirmed it intends releasing Mac OS X 10.5 in October, though developers have voiced some concern at the stability and performance of pre-release versions of the OS, the AppleInsider report explains.
