Online bank Egg has appointed Pascal Cagni, vice-president and general manager of Apple Europe, to its board as a non-executive director.
Cagni joined Apple on April 3, 2000, after leaving NEC/Packard Bell Europe, where he had most recently served as vice president of consumer products.
Prior to Packard Bell, Pascal held sales and sales-management positions with Software Publishing and Compaq. He began his career with Booz Allen & Hamilton after obtaining an MA in Law at Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris and an MBA from Institut Superieur des Affaires.
Egg launched its first product in France – its la Carte Egg Visa credit card – at the start of this month, according to Revolution magazine.
