The new iMac G5 is baffling the public – and not just because the whole computer is concealed within a 2-inch LCD monitor – it would appear that some people cannot fathom how to carry it.

For those who are wondering just how to move their new iMac around the home Apple has the answer. The company has thoughtfully prepared a Knowledge Article that explains "How to pick up and carry your iMac G5" for those challenged people.

The article states: "Don't know how to pick up and carry your iMac G5? It's easy. Before moving your computer, make sure all cables and cords are disconnected. Pick up the iMac G5 by grasping both sides of the computer. Carry it to wherever you wish."

Some may say that Apple's advice does not go far enough. Health and Safety advisers insist that when picking up heavy objects users should keep the back straight. Apple offers no such guidance.

Apple has not yet issued advice on carrying any of its laptop computers or the popular iPod music player.
