Keyspan has released beta Mac OS X drivers for its USB Twin Serial Adaptor.

The drivers are intended for Macintosh developers who make use of serial ports in their applications, and are available free of charge to developers who contact Keyspan.

The USB Twin Serial Adaptor is a means to connect serial devices to the USB ports on current Macs. It’s compatible with a wide range of modems, printers, cameras, graphics tablets and other serial devices.

Mike Ridenhour, Keyspan’s president, said: "We are excited about Mac OS X and are committed to its success. We plan to make the migration to Mac OS X as easy as possible for our developer partners and end users."
