Apple has confirmed the details of its eMac Repair Extension Program in the UK.
The scheme offers free repairs for some eMacs which suffers specific video or power-related problems. Affected machines were sold between approximately April 2004 and June 2005 and are likely to suffer scrambled or distorted video, no video or no power.
Apple has posted the serial number ranges of affected machines and will fix them free of charge for up to three years from the purchase date.
If you have an eMac suffering such problems with a serial number that's within the following three serial number ranges, it may be covered by the scheme.
G8412xxxxxx - G8520xxxxxx;
YM412xxxxxx - YM520xxxxxx;
VM440xxxxxx - VM516xxxxxx.
