Apple has officially extended its iMac software offer, which was due to end in September.

The offer applies to all slot-loading CD-RW iMac purchases. Buyers get their choice of iMac and the standard iMac software package with an assortment of other popular software titles at no extra charge.

The software collection includes: Tomb Raider - The Last Revelation; Escape From Monkey Island; and Sim City 3000. Reference titles include: Route 66 Europe 2000; the Encyclopaedia of Science; and Ultralingua language-dictionary software. Edutainment titles in the package include Adiboo Environment, Star Wards Pit Droids and Talk Now (French tuition).

These software titles are additional to the standard iMac software bundle, which includes: iTunes, iMovie 2, AppleWorks 6, Palm Desktop, FAXstf, Bugdom, Nanosaur, Cro-Mag Rally, a number of Internet connectivity titles and 30-days free Internet access through Demon.

The offer is valid for all European customers, and is available until December 31, 2001. More information is available from Apple's Web site.
