Apple and Microsoft's 'suite deal' offer has been extended to April 30, 2002.

The deal means UK customers save up to half the cost of Microsoft's Office v.X when they buy the application with a new Mac. The deal was originally scheduled to end March 31. All of Apple's current Macs qualify for this, with the exception of the 500MHz G3 iMac.

Customers can get a 50 per cent discount off the price of Microsoft Office v.X for Mac (normally £365), or 25 per cent off the purchase price of Microsoft Office v.X for Mac Upgrade (normally £195).

There's a little more information about the deal on Apple's Web site. Prospective customers are advised to visit the Apple Store or to contact their local Apple reseller.
