Apple has extended a deal by which developers can register for the World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) and save $300.

The company has extended the early registration deadline from April 22 to May 6.

Developers who book after May 6 will have to pay $1,595, rather than the special offer price of $1,295.

WWDC takes place June 6-10 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Apple will be showing off Mac OS X Tiger, the new iteration of its operating system, launching this Friday.
