As the international print-industry event IPEX 2002 approaches, print-training body TypeMaker is running a series of colour-management seminars at the offices of Apple UK during March and April.

The seminars are for design and publishing professionals wishing to achieve accurate, consistent workflow colour management. Topics include the latest ICC (International Colour Consortium) applications, and improving colour accuracy and quality between workflow devices, such as a monitor, scanner and printer.

Seminar C1 costs £285, and offers an introduction to colour management, colour theory, and configuring Photoshop, QuarkXPress and Illustrator to display consistent colour. These sessions take place March 20 and April 24.

The second £385 seminar examines building, editing and implementing colour-management profiles, and examines ICC-aware applications. Seminar C2 is scheduled for March 21 and April 25.

More information is available online.

Booked together, both seminars cost
