Apple is experiencing high volume sales of its new Intel Macs, Apple Insider reports.
Citing "reliable sources", the site claims sales of both Intel iMacs and the soon-to-ship MacBook Pro have exceeded Apple's expectations. Senior executives are reportedly "thrilled" at the level of sales.
The report also describes .Mac sales as having seen significant gains since Apple introduced iLife '06. The catalyst to these gains appears to be iLife's new easy-to-use web design application, iWeb.
US retailers who are able to sell retail boxes containing membership of the digital service are reported to be running out of stock, as iLife users flock to make full use of the .Mac integration built-in to the suite.
