Apple plans to update its iSight cameras and AirPort Extreme Base Stations to comply with European environmental laws in the near future.

AppleInsider claims the company plans to update these products "in a few weeks".

The company had to discontinue European sales of both products, as well as the CRT-based eMac, in order to comply with the RoHS European law which came into effect on 1 July.

The report observes that Apple is running out of stock of both products in the US, where it is still legal to sell them.
