Apple's vice president of applications, Eddie Cue, will speak at December's Music 2.0 event.

He'll deliver a keynote speech at 9am (5pm UK time) on December 8. The Music 2.0 event attracts recording industry leaders, music manager, artists, software developers and others.

Apple's director of marketing for applications and services Peter Lowe spoke at the event last year, when he revealed Apple to have sold 20 million songs through iTunes Music Store at that point.
