Apple and PowerSchool – a division of Apple that makes a Web-based student information system for US schools – are to exhibit at NECC 2004.

NECC 2004 is the 25th annual National Educational Computing conference. The organizer claims it is the World's largest education technology event.

This year the theme is Jammin & Jazzin with Technology. The conference examines "best practices and research to harness the power of technology to improve students' learning".

It will be held from June 20 – 23 in New Orleans.

PowerSchool is a Web-based, single-server Mac- and Windows-compatible student information system for K-12 schools and school districts. Apple says: "Administrators get the most accurate information to make more effective decisions. Teachers gain timesaving administrative tools, parents gain immediate access to their children’s grades, and students can track their own progress."
