Apple and NASA are offering a host of multimedia and educational exhibits for classroom use through the Apple Learning Interchange (ALI).

Apple's ALI is a mass of educational resources hosted online. NASA has added its own research-based materials to the resources – primarily for US educators – hosted there.

NASA educational technology team leader Christina O'Guinn said: "Both the Apple Learning Interchange and NASA's Office of Education have similar goals in striving to provide educators with technology resources that model and facilitate effective teaching methods, so we are very excited to work toward this common goal together."

The site will host a number of virtual exhibits from NASA. These begin with a new microgravity challenge on NASA Quest. This asks students to design tests for new technology such as the Personal Satellite Assistant.

Additional content will be made available over time.
