Australians and New Zealanders are to get a sneak peek at OS X Tiger in a series of WWDC previews to be held Down Under.

Apple Australia is planning give developers there a look at "all the excitement that's in store for attendees of WWDC 2005". The event will start in Wellington, New Zealand on Monday April 4 and end in Perth, Australia on Thursday April 14.

Topics at the Australia/New Zealand Worldwide Developers Conference 2005 Preview will include The Mac Market, Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger technologies, OS X Architecture, open-source development on Mac OS X, and Xcode 2.0.

The event, which will be under the Apple Developer Connection NDA terms "as pre-release software will be demonstrated", will include presentations from pixelglow software's Glen Low, and Apple's Phil Dempster and Tess Collins.

Apple nemsis, Think Secret, has published rumours that Apple will reveal Mac OS X Tiger by the middle of April.
