Apple will open its third retail store today at Willow Bend, Plano, Texas.

The company has uploaded directions to the new store on its Web site.

Twenty miles North of Dallas, the store offers the latest Apple hardware and hundreds of software titles. All in-store Macs have Internet access, and there's a Genius Bar, where Macintosh users can get answers to technical problems.

Apple's two existing stores, in Glendale California and Tyson's Corner, have each sold 500 units of software per week, Apple announced last month. Over 150,000 customers have visited the stores since they opened. Apple will open 23 more stores during the rest of the year.

The company is aiming to return a slight profit on its retail investment by the end of the year.
