Apple has released DVD Studio Pro 1.5.1 updates for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X.

The free updates for DVD Studio Pro 1.5 feature improved stability for DVD-ROM burning and fixes.

The updates also fix issues such as: when 24-bit AIFF files contained digital noise; and problems with Macrovision APS bits, Setting SSCRST with CPSEC and PES bits when writing DLT tapes, and Region 7 setting flagging as playable.

DVD Studio Pro 1.5.1 for Mac OS 9 requires Mac OS 9.2.2, while DVD Studio Pro 1.5.1 for Mac OS X requires Mac OS X 10.1.3.

Apple has also released AirPort Base Station firmware 4.0.6, an upgrade for the Snow (dual-Ethernet) base station. This firmware revision does not support the Graphite base station.

AirPort 2.0.4 software is recommended for use with this base station firmware release. This firmware is required if you are using Rendezvous-enabled applications in Mac OS X 10.2.

No update is necessary if the AirPort Admin Utility from Mac OS X 10.2 has already been used.

New features in AirPort Base Station Firmware 4.0.6 include: improved scanning for base stations across local subnets – improving AirPort computers ability to find base stations while plugged into the LAN port; compatiblility with Internet service providers or other home-router products that use private 10.0.0.x or 10.0.1.x addresses in bridge mode.

The update requires Mac OS 9.2.1 or higher.
