Apple has released hundreds of royalty-free music clips to iTools members.

The music comes from FreePlay Music, and is available to iTools users via their iDisks. Apple is distributing the high-quality collection to Macintosh users for use in iMovie and Final Cut Pro productions.

Titles are divided into 35 genres, including Acid Jazz, Alternative Rock, Blues, Lounge, Pop and Techno. Each track is broadcast ready, and each title is available in 120, 60, 30, 20, 15 and 10-second cuts.

The FreePlay Music folder is tucked away inside the Extras folder within the Mac OS X Software folder of user's iDisk's. It contains 35 directories of music broken down by genre, and music is encoded in MP3 format.
