Apple has received awards for its titanium PowerBook, Cube and Pro Speakers at BusinessWeek's Online Annual Design Awards for 2001.

The titanium PowerBook won a gold award in the Computer Equipment category. Apple's Cube and Pro Speakers picked up bronze awards in the same category.

BusinessWeek's Online Annual Design Awards highlight the trend in design-led products – which many would argue was started by Apple with the launch of the iMac in 1997. Competition entries were judged by the Industrial Designers Society of America, and the awards were sponsored by BusinessWeek.

Apple finds itself victorious for the fourth time this year, having already scooped awards from the Industrie Forum Design and BETT awards in January, and more recently the D&AD (British Design and Art Direction ) awards.
