Apple may have plans to launch its first 24-hour retail store.

The company is working to open premises in midtown Manhattan, and Think Secret's sources claim it will be open 24 hours a day.

The 25,000-square foot store will have a 32-foot glass cube on top of it at street level, which will let natural light flood into the underground shop. Customers will use the cube to access stairs and elevators leading to Apple's technology playground.

The store will also have a dedicated iPod bar to help users with common problems such as resetting frozen iPods and ensuring their media players are equipped with the latest software updates.
