Apple has announced the new version of the Mac OS - Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. 

At its preview event, titled Back To The Mac, Apple CEO Steve Jobs talked a lot about bringing mobile iOS features (as seen on the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad) to the desktop Mac. He's presented the following features. More will follow later. 

Multi-touch gestures are coming to OS X. 

iOS app beahaviours such as autosaving and fast-switching will transfer to the Mac

A Mac App Store - again, a 30/70 revenue split between Apple and the developer. Mac App Store will open within 90 days.
