Apple is sponsoring six sessions at the Game Developers Conference, to be held in San Jose from 20-24 March.

Apple will promote Mac OS X as a games platform, staging sessions on: programming; cross-platform development; OS X's graphics architecture; 3D modelling and rendering; motion capture; and character animation.

The conference will also host a panel discussion on making money from Mac games, featuring representatives from leading Mac-software publishers, such as Alias|Wavefront, Newtek and Kaydara.

All Apple-sponsored sessions are on 23 March in Room C3. Each session is one hour. A timetable of sessions is available from Apple's Web site. Pricing for the sessions vary.
