Apple is hiring staff to man its London store – due to open this Autumn.

In an advert on the Apple UK Web site the company is seeking "passionate individuals with special skills and talents".

The advert continues: "The Apple Store offers a unique opportunity to share your passion for Apple products and technology with customers and Mac enthusiasts alike. The Apple Store is a rewarding environment in which to build your career."

Jobs on offer include a Mac Genius, a Mac Specialist, an Inventory Specialist, and an assistant store manager.

The job description for the Mac Genius states: "Your fundamental mission: ensure no Mac User ever again receives inadequate service or second-class treatment."

The Mac Specialist will "provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer, regardless of the potential revenue they represent."

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for stocking shelves, inventory, monitoring returns, and carrying goods for customers.

The assistant store manager should "drive friends mad with deep discussions about philosophy and vision", and "need to be able to comfortably translate technical information to a non-technical customer".
