Apple has created a new Web-based customer resource, called Customer Installable Parts.

The service offers users installation documents, as well as official Apple QuickTime videos, in which Apple technicians guide users through various installation processes.

Currently, information is available for the G4 Cube and the Multiprocessing G4 Power Macs. Topics covered include installing AirPort cards, RAM, PCI cards and the PRAM battery.

The new resource pages follow the recent news that Apple’s PowerBook Tech-Info pages have been transferred to a new section of the Apple site, Industry watchers believe both developments are the result of Apple’s new partnership with e-service specialists, Kanisa.
