Apple'sAirPort and iMovie 2 have been nominated for the BETT 2001 awards at the education and technology show - taking place at Olympia, January 10-13, 2001.

A panel of 20 judges drew up the shortlist of finalists from 400 nominated products.

iMovie is a contender in two of the thirteen categories, Software Tools Award - Primary, and Software Tools Award - Secondary. AirPort has also been put forward for two awards, ICT Hardware Award - Primary, and ICT Hardware Award - Secondary.

Voting is now open to all practising teachers. The winner will be revealed at a gala dinner at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane on January 10, 2000.

BETT 2000 attracted more than 360 exhibitors and 22,120 visitors from 65 countries. For information on BETT 2001 check the show's Web site.
