Apple has withdrawn its multiprocessing Power Macintosh G4 servers from international versions of the Apple Store.

The two fastest servers – based on twin-533MHz processors – have been withdrawn, with only the single processor 533MHz server still availble.

The move has sparked speculation that the company is planning to launch new servers – based on 733MHz and 800MHz processors – at Apple Expo, Paris.

Other potential launching points could include Seybold San Francisco or IBC 2001. Apple has already promised to use IBC to "reaffirm its position at the forefront of the desktop video industry."
