Apple has released new Bonjour for Windows 1.0.3 software.

The software is for Windows 2000/2003 or Windows XP systems running Apple's zero-configuration networking software. The company recommends the update for, "all Bonjour users to improve usability and compatibility".

The new software also improves start-up performance of Bonjour on Windows platforms, the company explained.

The software includes Apple's Bonjour Printer Wizard, which allows Windows computers to print to Bonjour networked printers, including USB shared printers connected to the AirPort Extreme and AirPort Express Base Stations.

"Since Apple first launched Bonjour in 2002, every major maker of network printers has adopted Bonjour. With the Bonjour Printer Wizard, computers using Windows can also experience the benefits of effortlessly discovering and printing to these Bonjour printers," the company explained.

Bonjour requires Windows 2000/2003 or Windows XP. Windows users can download the complete Bonjour for Windows package from Apple.
