Apple has released a new security update for Mac OS X 10.3.4 or later.

The 16.4MB update, 'Security Update 2005-002", is focused on repairing Java 1.4.2 vulnerabilities. It's recommended for all Mac users, according to Apple.

The updates secures the following components: Java Web Start; JavaPluginCocoa.bundle; JavascriptCore and Core Java classes.

It's available through Software Update or through the above link as a direct download.

The following language versions are currently avaialble: Dutch; German, English, Spanish, Finnish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portugese, Simplified and traditional Chinese, Swedish.
