Apple has released a pair of security updates for PowerPC and Intel-based Macs (a Universal version of the software).

Apple recommends all users should install the relevant Security Update 2006-008 version on their Macs. The updates improve a security vulnerability that could affect Quartz Composer and QuickTime for Java.

The security problem meant that visitors to a malicious website could lead to the disclosure of personal information.

The PowerPC version of the software is a 1.5MB download that's available here. The Universal version is a 1.8MB download and is available here.
